Winstonn Prado Robles is a Civil Engineer with nearly 30 years of experience in the design, supervision, and execution of infrastructure projects, with a distinguished track record in building construction, urban development, cadastral surveying, and municipal works. His academic background and professional practice combine structural design, digital cartography, and technical building regularization, providing an integrated perspective for projects in both public and private sectors.

During his tenure at the Municipality of Guayaquil, he led technical processes involving cadastral updates, the development of official cartographic maps, and the validation of urban information, completing over 2,500 property appraisals for municipal projects and expropriation procedures. His public-sector expertise is complemented by a strong trajectory as a contractor, designing and constructing residential homes, commercial buildings, professional studios, dental clinics, and vacation complexes.

Operationally, he brings extensive experience in technical surveys, structural analysis, construction supervision, contractor management, regulatory compliance, and the preparation of budgets, quantity estimates, and project schedules. His professional approach ensures safe, efficient, and technically sound construction works aligned with current building standards.

His contribution to Vertex Ecuador includes technical support for infrastructure projects, field assessments, facility design, surveys in rural and Amazonian regions, and the supervision of works related to energy, sustainability, and territorial development. Jhoffre Andrés Ortiz Álvarez is an Environmental Engineer and specialist in ecological construction with over 14 years of professional experience in environmental regulation, project auditing, compliance oversight, and environmental management across public and private sectors. Born in the Ecuadorian Amazon (Morona Santiago), he possesses deep cultural understanding of Shuar, Achuar and Montubio communities, bringing a strong socio-environmental approach to field operations, community relations, and sustainable development.

He has served as Provincial Environmental and Project Audit Specialist at the Contraloría General del Estado, leading technical audits on infrastructure, sanitation, environmental management, public procurement, project execution, and environmental compliance. His work has included special examinations, environmental audits, monitoring of environmental licenses and management plans, and verification of compliance with national environmental regulations. He has evaluated projects in road development, community infrastructure, sanitation, solid waste, and public works.

His experience also includes serving as Environmental Specialist at the Ministry of Environment, where he was responsible for environmental regularization, review and approval of environmental files, monitoring of private and public-sector projects, waste management registration, and response to contamination complaints. Additionally, he has supported municipalities through technical inspections, environmental capacity-building, and implementation of local environmental systems.

Jhoffre holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Auditing (ESPE) and a professional degree in Environmental Engineering and Ecological Construction, complemented by extensive specialized training in environmental risk assessment, hydrographic watershed planning, renewable energy projects in the Amazon, solid waste management, occupational safety, environmental crime investigation, public-sector auditing, and sustainable development frameworks (Agenda 2030).

In his capacity as Contract Administrator, Manuel managed the delivery of military-grade systems, ensuring strict compliance with technical, operational, and contractual standards.

Víctor Noboa is a Commercial Engineer with over a decade of experience in the public and private sectors, specializing in tax management, foreign trade, and customs regulation. His professional trajectory bridges economic governance with the emerging fields of renewable energy, carbon markets, and sustainable project development.

Victor holds an MBA in Sustainability of Strategic Sectors, which has strengthened his expertise in market analysis, risk management, and strategic planning for sustainable business models. Víctor applies this knowledge to support energy transition initiatives, ensuring financial efficiency, regulatory compliance, and alignment with national and international sustainability standards.

As a Compliance Officer, he is trained to advise organizations on environmental and fiscal regulations, carbon credit frameworks, and institutional transparency, safeguarding adherence to Ecuadorian and global compliance systems.

His background includes serving as a Tax Services Officer at the Servicio de Rentas Internas (SRI), where he gained expertise in fiscal policy and regulatory analysis, and as an Inspector at the Servicio Nacional de Aduana del Ecuador (SENAE), where he developed a strong command of foreign trade procedures and customs oversight.

Before joining Vertex Ecuador Victor served as an Imports Document Reviewer at Grupo Torres y Torres, one of Ecuador’s leading customs and trade logistics agencies, applying his knowledge to ensure responsible trade practices and contribute to the country’s sustainable economic growth.

Ángel “Jinmy” Mendieta Luna is an educator with extensive experience in academic management and pedagogical leadership, firmly committed to the continuous improvement of educational quality and the integral formation of students. He has worked for more than a decade with Montubio communities, strengthening agricultural value chains, improving local governance structures, and supporting the design and implementation of projects related to markets, municipal services, and rural production systems. His work integrates technical, technological, and contextual analysis to support decision-making processes and strengthen institutional and community initiatives.

Throughout his career, he has held key leadership roles in community organizations, including serving as Community Leader of the Monte Sinaí Network, founding and legally representing the agricultural association ASOPROACAALEM, and acting as President of the Montubio Peoples of Guayaquil. He has collaborated with public, private, and international stakeholders to support agricultural supply chains, obtain production inputs, coordinate community engagement, and ensure the inclusion of Montubio families in development processes. He has also participated in carbon-related land initiatives in San Lorenzo, Esmeraldas, contributing to climate-focused agricultural discussions.

His background includes work on infrastructure support and procurement, having coordinated furnishing and interior assembly for military facilities, commercial projects, and stadium expansions. He has also served as a community observer and liaison for public works—including the Monte Sinaí hospital and water intake project—helping ensure transparency, citizen monitoring, and alignment with community needs. Justin has also served as an Administrator, overseeing inventory control, staff coordination, sales management, and daily financial reconciliation. These responsibilities strengthened his expertise in structuring and optimizing both operational and financial processes.

Diego Ismael Aucapiña Guamán is a proactive and highly motivated professional with experience in academic training, communication, and content development, with a strong focus on human learning, performance improvement, and team support. He has worked as a private academic trainer, where he designed instructional content, provided personalized teaching, and strengthened students’ writing, reading comprehension, and academic performance. He also served as a Communications Assistant for the Municipality of Cuenca, contributing to the creation and publication of visual and written communication materials for institutional channels.
