Fabiola Zarumeño is a biologist specializing in environmental sustainability and leading projects focused on carbon capture and offsetting. She has extensive experience in ecosystem management, biological soil assessment, and the design of natural strategies for climate change mitigation.

As project leader, Fabiola has been instrumental in the planning and development of initiatives aimed at soil regeneration, the implementation of bio-inputs, and the application of methodologies to measure and increase carbon sequestration in agricultural and forestry systems.

She seeks to combine biological science with environmental innovation, promoting sustainable solutions that integrate biodiversity conservation, ecological restoration, and the green economy. To complement her training, she has completed specialized UN courses, including Fundamentals on REDD+ and Introduction to Climate Change, as well as a Leadership Program for Environmental Project Management, strengthening her skills in team coordination and strategic decision-making.

Her leadership style is characterized by interdisciplinary collaboration, the constant pursuit of ecological efficiency, and a commitment to environmental education and community development.

Manuel Banchón brings over 20 years of experience in the technology and defense sectors, where he has successfully led strategic modernization programs and implemented advanced technological solutions in high-security environments.

His expertise spans comprehensive project management, including the design and development of command and control systems, cryptographic infrastructures, and secure communications networks.

Manuel’s professional approach combines innovation, strategic analysis, and technical leadership to deliver reliable, efficient, and mission-critical solutions.

Throughout his career, he has served as Project Manager for numerous technology infrastructure initiatives, overseeing the deployment of communication systems, video surveillance networks, and cybersecurity frameworks. As Technical Lead and Systems Developer, he directed the implementation of Command Centers and high-availability network solutions.

In his capacity as Contract Administrator, Manuel managed the delivery of military-grade systems, ensuring strict compliance with technical, operational, and contractual standards.

Víctor Noboa is a Commercial Engineer with over a decade of experience in the public and private sectors, specializing in tax management, foreign trade, and customs regulation. His professional trajectory bridges economic governance with the emerging fields of renewable energy, carbon markets, and sustainable project development.

Victor holds an MBA in Sustainability of Strategic Sectors, which has strengthened his expertise in market analysis, risk management, and strategic planning for sustainable business models. Víctor applies this knowledge to support energy transition initiatives, ensuring financial efficiency, regulatory compliance, and alignment with national and international sustainability standards.

As a Compliance Officer, he is trained to advise organizations on environmental and fiscal regulations, carbon credit frameworks, and institutional transparency, safeguarding adherence to Ecuadorian and global compliance systems.

His background includes serving as a Tax Services Officer at the Servicio de Rentas Internas (SRI), where he gained expertise in fiscal policy and regulatory analysis, and as an Inspector at the Servicio Nacional de Aduana del Ecuador (SENAE), where he developed a strong command of foreign trade procedures and customs oversight.

Before joining Vertex Ecuador Victor served as an Imports Document Reviewer at Grupo Torres y Torres, one of Ecuador’s leading customs and trade logistics agencies, applying his knowledge to ensure responsible trade practices and contribute to the country’s sustainable economic growth.

Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a high level of competence in pedagogical planning, teacher support, and institutional evaluation, ensuring the effective implementation of quality standards in educational practice. His management approach is characterized by strategic leadership, clear communication, and collaborative teamwork, which strengthen the professional performance of teaching staff and the coherence of institutional objectives. Rossana Ceballos Prado is a highly organized and results-oriented professional with solid experience in administrative coordination, and customer relations. At Vertex Ecuador, Rossana plays a key role in supporting CEO administrative duties contributing to the company’s strategic and operational effectiveness. Before joining Vertex Ecuador, Rossana developed her expertise through positions in administrative support and financial operations, where she was responsible for invoice processing, expense control, and client coordination. Her structured approach and problem-solving mindset have been instrumental in streamlining internal procedures and enhancing organizational productivity.

Freddy “Justin” Arias Mora holds technical training in Consumer Electricity and brings extensive experience in administrative management, customer service, and sales operations. Recognized for his responsibility, organizational skills, and team-oriented mindset, Justin consistently adapts to dynamic and results-driven environments.

Before joining Vertex Ecuador, he worked as a Sales Advisor at Equifax, where he managed customer relations, coordinated call center sales activities, and supported contract follow-up and closure. 

His strong communication abilities and data management proficiency contributed to improving service efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Justin has also served as an Administrator, overseeing inventory control, staff coordination, sales management, and daily financial reconciliation. These responsibilities strengthened his expertise in structuring and optimizing both operational and financial processes.

A proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented professional, Justin is dedicated to delivering effective administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of organizational activities across departments.
